Mobile Banking

First National Bank of Giddings now offers Mobile Banking, making it quick and easy to manage your finances anytime, anywhere. Mobile Banking from First National Bank puts high-tech, on-the-go, 24/7 secure access to your account information right in the palm of your hand.

Mobile Banking from First National Bank offers the ability to keep on top of your banking needs while you are on the move.  Using any mobile phone with internet access, you can securely log in to:

  • View your account balances
  • Review your most recent transactions
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Pay bills (if you are set up for this function)


Mobile Banking is a free service for our internet banking customers.  *Please note that fees associated with your mobile phone data service plan or text messaging may apply.* 

Enrollment is completed through Online Banking.

1st Alert

First National Bank of Giddings now offers a flexible look that will monitor your account activity and alert you of specific events.  With 1st Alert, you can receive automatic notifications via text message or email for activities such as daily balance, high/low balance, checks cleared, debit card transactions, ACH transactions, insufficient funds, internal transfers, loan payment made, or Certificate of Deposit maturity. These alerts are created through your Online Banking.

Instructions to create alerts

There will be a “Messages” section on your screen when you log in. Click on “New” in the “Messages” section of the screen, select the type of event you wish to create from the drop down menu as shown below and click next.

 

 Enter the email address or mobile SMS email. You may also change the “Description” field if you wish. Next, click “Submit”.

Below are a few SMS examples. You may need to contact your mobile provider to find out the specific address their system uses.  Fees from your mobile service provider may apply.  

 

You may also choose to receive them in your Online Banking message box when you log in. A confirmation message is displayed after submitting.  A Broadcast message from First National Bank of Giddings may also be displayed when you log in to Online Banking with notifications for our Online Banking customers.
